Happy Valentine’s day everyone! I wanted to quickly share my outfit for Valentines 2016.

This top is hot, hot, hot! This maxi tunic is made in the softest knit, features grommet detailing along the neckline and has slits along the side.

I absolutely love these maxi tunics right now. They are simple to style and  I feel super comfortable in them.

For Valentines Dinner with my Fiance I’ve paired ’em with with leather leggings which are also from Dynamite and a pop of red with my pumps from Spring Shoes but you can really pair them with everything from high rise skinnies to your coziest leggings.

Giddyup, Ladies: The Riding Boot seems to be trending!

When it comes to cold weather foot wear I love a pair of over-the knee boots! I must admit that I wasn’t completely on board with this trend and I’ve kept a watchful eye on this fashion development as it seemed to make a big appearance in fall of 2015.

The winter has been very mild this year in Toronto so I’ve been able to stretch alot of my fall pieces into the winter.

I happened to come across a pair that caught my eyes! I found this Posh, knee-high boots with a sexy lace-up detailing along the back. It also features a modern mix of materials between mixed leather and a swede stretch fabric on the back. I also love that the heel features a gold plated GUESS logo.

Another Great thing about these boots is the circumference around my legs! It is the perfect fit!

Regular priced at $250 I only paid $125 which is still a lot for a pair of boots but I was really in love!

How to Style your Riding Boots?

Show off the sleek, long lines of riding boots with equally sleek pants. A pair of skinny jeans in dark wash that’s similar in color to your boots will make you look tall and lean.  As you can see in the pictures  below – I paired mine with a pair of dark blue Jeans. I also chose to wear a blouse to complement this silhouette along with my high collar fur vest.

Distressed skinny jeans also look good with women’s riding boots when you want a casual look, you can even throw on a tank/tee with a plaid shirt layered on top.

Try wearing them with leggings. Like skinny jeans, leggings mimic the shape of tall women’s boots, but they also give you a contemporary feel – you can and add a richly colored tunic for a great autumn look.

Now this look is one I can’t wait to try! A comfortable sweater dress worn over leggings will also show off your boots and look super cozy!

I also feel like a blazer, blouse and dark wash jean combination will also make a great equestrian statement.

If you don’t have a pair of riding boots already and you’re looking to try it out I would definitely recommend trying on few pairs and not rushing into purchasing a pair! Right now is a great time of year to find a great deal as the fall/winter season is coming to an end and spring wear will begin to hit the stores soon!

What I Wore-Date Night!

Happy 2nd Weekend of 2016 Everyone!  I hope it is a good one for you as it is for me!

I just wanted to share one of my favorite most recent purchases. 

So sorry the pictures are not great… Toronto in under a cold weather alert this weekend so we quickly took the pictures inside before we went out for dinner.

I have been on the HUNT for this jaw-dropping peplum top from Dynamite. It has been sold out online and in store for a while and I luckily came across it 2 weekends ago in my size at The Eaton Centre !!!

This top is Jacquard Knit with Long Sleeves and has a cute little back Zipper closure.

You can easily pair it with with your fave skinnies for a dinner date or faux leather mini skirt for a girls
out!  I also like this top for work,  I pair it with some dress pants and some. Heels or Flats!

Today I am sharing one of my boxing day finds from H&M!  This sweater is pattern knitted in ribbon yarn, with  a loose  fit and features fringe along the hemline.

Fringe has been one of this falls hottest trends! From Bags,  to Boots and Sweaters and Skirts!  I personally find this sweater to be super cozy looking as well as feeling!

I find this sweater very versatile as you can easily pair it with leggings, jeans or even a pencil skirt and some boots! To dress it up You can add some chunky bracelets and statement necklace.

Boyfriend Shirts.. Effortless and Sexy!

Happy Sunday all! 

SINGLE OR TAKEN? It doesn’t matter whose in your love life when your wearing the boyfriend fit! 

I’ve paid this super soft plaid shirt with a boyfriend t-shirt.  The plaid shirt is great because it can be worn buttoned down with a tank or the inside or buttoned up and belted! The sleeves also can be worn rolled up or down which gives you great versatility! You can pair this with either jeans or leggings.  I chose to pair them with shiny leggings and some over the knee boots which add a sexy feel!

I took the time to use my instyler to give my freshly Baylaged hair a blow out look!  Well talk about my hair a little later on… Here is the outfit breakdown!

I personally love boyfriend fit tops and shirts as I find them super comfy! If your sure how to pull off the boyfriend fit and keep it chic here are some tips to get you started!

1. You can pair any boyfriend shirt with leggings or Jeans and most skirts!

2. pair a plaid boyfriend shirt, leggings, knee socks and boots for a nice Fall weekend outfit.

3. Embrace the oversize and work with it! 

4. You don’t actually have to steal your boyfriends clothes… But that works too ♥

5. Swap the boots and socks for heels for a city chic look!

6. Ad a blazer to a plain boyfriend tee with heels and your choice of bottom for a work chic look! 

7. Add accessories!! Atackable necklaces and chunky bracelets  should so the trick! 

Now can we talk about my hair for a minute!? I’ve always wanted to get an ombre/baylage done in my hair but I’ve never seen a picture that I loved for some inspo. Also,  I previously had blonde highlights which are still growing out from two years ago and growing out a Bob. I found the perfect inspiration from my hairdressers instagram feed and knew it had to be done!  She did a great “sombre” on my hair which is a soft ombre..only affecting the ends of my hair with a lighter color than my natural black.  Now she did go darker as my hair does not hold onto color well..  This way it will fade into the color it should be in about two washes. I just wanted to share a photo with you all because who knows!!  This could be hair in-app for someone else who is also looking but can’t find exactly what there are looking for!

The basic ballerina flat is getting an upgrade this season with lace-up details. It’s already a  big hit with fashion bloggers everywhere which I’m sure you’ve seen pop up on your instagram feed a few times already!!

I adore a beautiful heel being a shoeaholic and all but realistically they just don’t work with my day to day lifestyle. The lace up ballerina trend is definitely one I can embrace and have some fun with. I predict this trend will hang around for quite some time.. I for one am already loving it!!!!

The skinny on coloured skinnies😜

Hello Gorgeous!

Coloured Skinnies are not something new to the fashion scene and not everyone is comfortable wearing a pair of coloured jeans.

I for one have only just begun to explore with coloured jeans… I started off with soft colours in the summer like baby pink and baby blue and as fall came along I purchased a pair of khaki green and forest green.

I find that it all depends on your personal taste and what your comfortable with! 

If you do dare to try a pair…of whatever colour that catches your eye and are not sure how to Style em.. Here are some tips!

1) Colour Block them
2) Pair them with Neutrals
3) Make it fun by adding a patterned top.. Animal print and floral are fun! 
4) Add a classic denim Shirt to the mix!
